From naming to market-ready
When Villara developed the Emeric and VillaTherm variable speed systems to replace the discontinued AquaThermAire line, the marketing team was brought in at the beginning — not after the product existed, but during its formation. That meant contributing to naming, logo development, and brand strategy before a single piece of collateral was designed, then building everything outward from that foundation.
The products were manufactured through international partners, which added real complexity to the documentation process. Every technical claim had to be verified in close coordination with engineering and R&D. The collateral suite ultimately needed to serve two fundamentally different audiences: homeowners making a significant comfort investment who needed clear, benefit-forward communication, and technicians installing and servicing the systems who needed precise procedural guidance and specifications. Each piece had to meet both without compromising either.
The scope grew to include motion as well as print. A three-minute explainer video was developed to communicate how variable speed heat pump technology works — translating a technical differentiator into language accessible enough for a homeowner conversation while remaining accurate enough to represent the product honestly. The video covers the core advantages of variable speed systems: more consistent temperature control, quieter performance, and stronger energy efficiency compared to standard single-stage systems.

A launch system built to last
A complete market-ready system was delivered across every format the launch required — trifold brochures, promotional one-sheets, specification packets, technical installation guides, warranty materials, service manuals, and a three-minute product education video. The Emeric and VillaTherm brand identities launched alongside the physical products, providing immediate visual coherence at point of sale and in the field.
The variable speed explainer video gave the sales team a shareable asset that could do educational heavy lifting before a consultation, allowing conversations to start at a higher level of homeowner understanding. The print suite bridged the gap between that early education and the technical reality of ownership — giving homeowners something to reference and technicians something to rely on. Together the system demonstrated what a fully integrated product launch looks like when design, strategy, and communication are built in parallel rather than bolted on afterward.
